Cooperation when and where useful Print E-mail

Each Covéa brands has skills and structures that have proved to be reliable.

Co-operation between its affiliated members is organised on a pragmatic basis: consolidating whenever scale can have a beneficial impact, keeping whatever deserves to be kept, in particular trademarks and distribution networks.

By making use of the best know-how in each mutual companies, co-operations take place on three levels:
  • joint ANALYSIS :
As the perfect forum for exchange between its brands, Covéa supports analyses on trends in technology, regulations or market moves. These exchanges help anticipate changes, and are beneficial to one and all.
Examples: Solvency II, new accounting rules, home services, changes in consumer behaviour patterns, etc.
  • joint ACTION :
his more significant level of interaction results in benefits that are immediately tangible. Specific examples include achieving economies of scale, benefitting from the effect of size that produces greater bargaining power with service providers, carrying out ambitious projects/investments that a mutual insurance company cannot achieve alone, such as purchasing, information systems, reinsurance, etc.
  • joint OPERATION :
This level is the most integrated of all three. This approach favours the deployment of innovative concepts to improve the productivity and quality of services (Covéa AIS, FIDELIA Assistance…).
Joint operations also mean seeking positions of leadership on markets with high added value (Covéa Fleet, Covéa Risks…).
